Aims and Scope

The Bulletin of Computer and Data Sciences (BCDS) is a peer-reviewed, diamond open access journal—free to read and free to publish (no APCs)—dedicated to advancing research and innovation across computer ans data sciencess, and their multidisciplinary applications. The journal serves as a global platform for disseminating rigorous work that strengthens computational understanding, data-driven decision-making, and intelligent system design.

BCDS welcomes original research, insightful articles, comprehensive reviews, and case studies that contribute to theoretical advances, algorithmic innovation, systems and software, and impactful applications. The journal particularly encourages contributions that integrate methods from computer science, statistics, artificial intelligence, and domain sciences such as engineering, healthcare, finance, and environmental studies.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence

  • Data mining, big data analytics, and information retrieval

  • Cloud, edge, and distributed systems; systems for ML/analytics

  • Algorithms, optimization, and computational theory

  • Computer vision, natural language processing, and pattern recognition

  • Cybersecurity, privacy, trust, and data ethics

  • Human-centered computing and interactive data science

  • Responsible AI, fairness, transparency, and reproducibility

  • Applied computational and data science in science, engineering, and society
